About Me

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with exceptional individuals from around the world, which has provided me with a wealth of knowledge. However, I am aware that my profession is continually evolving, and there is always more to learn.
I am passionate about my work and seize every opportunity to enhance my skills and improve my performance.

Having lived in six countries, I value the diversity of cultures and perspectives that have contributed to my personal and professional development.

I believe that embracing individuality and differences is essential to creating a stronger and more united society. I am grateful to have collaborated with a diverse group of innovative individuals and organizations.

Together, we work towards continuous improvement and progress.

I have the privilege of working with all departments to ensure that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles are incorporated into daily operations.
This enhances the efficiency of our workforce, improves customer satisfaction, and ultimately leads to the success of our business.

Customer success and DEI are intertwined and part of the same mindset. Companies that focus on both concepts tend to have better financial outcomes and a more positive impact on society.

My Values

My Story

Who are You?

Having lived, worked, and stayed in various countries across the world, I have been fortunate to experience a broad range of cultures and perspectives. Born in Denmark, I have had the chance to explore the diverse landscapes of Sweden, Belgium, England, USA, and Scotland. Alongside this, I have always been a passionate traveller, and there are still many exciting destinations on my bucket list that I hope to visit in the future.

Despite my love of travel, my career has been primarily focused on communication in the software industry, which has always been a keen interest of mine. I have dedicated much of my professional life to the customer focused roles within the software industry, working in various roles that have offered unique challenges and rewards.

Overall, my diverse experiences and interests have contributed to a unique and valuable skillset that I am always refining as I continue to grow in my career. Whether through travel, studies, or other pursuits, I am always seeking out new opportunities to learn and expand my horizons.

Can you think of a career-defining moment :

Throughout my career, I have experienced many defining moments that have shaped the way I work and view my profession. However, one particular moment stands out as having had a significant impact on both my personal and professional life. It was the decision to transition to remote-only working.

At the time, the idea of working remotely was still a relatively new concept, and many people were hesitant about it. However, I saw the potential benefits that remote work could offer, including increased flexibility, a more peaceful working environment, better focus, improved work/life balance, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with colleagues.

The transition to remote work was not without its challenges. There were technical issues to overcome, communication obstacles to navigate, and the need to establish a new routine and work habits. However, with dedication and determination, I was able to overcome these obstacles and embrace the benefits of remote work.

Working remotely has allowed me to have more control over my schedule and work environment, which has led to increased productivity and a better work/life balance. It has also given me the opportunity to connect with colleagues from all over the world, expanding my network and providing new perspectives on work and life.

Moreover, remote work has enabled me to pursue other interests outside of work, such as volunteering and traveling, without compromising my professional responsibilities. It has given me the freedom to design my life in a way that works best for me, which has had a profound impact on my overall happiness and well-being.

One thing you are most proud of:

I take immense pride in both my personal and professional accomplishments. Among these, there are two that stand out as particularly meaningful to me. The first is my daughter, who I consider to be my greatest achievement in life.
She is a teenager, and she still thinks I'm cool (so she says anyway).
I am proud to say that she is a kind-hearted and thoughtful individual, and the fact that she actively chooses to spend time with me is a source of immense pride and joy.

In addition to my role as a parent, I also take great satisfaction in the work I do within the company. I am constantly striving to improve current practices and procedures, and to launch new initiatives that will benefit both our colleagues and our customers. It is incredibly rewarding to see these efforts come to fruition, and to witness first-hand the positive impact they have on an organization as a whole.

Launching new initiatives is not always an easy task. It requires extensive planning, research, and collaboration, as well as a willingness to take risks and embrace change. However, the sense of accomplishment that comes from seeing these initiatives succeed is unparalleled. When I witness my colleagues benefiting from a new program or process, or when I see our customers responding positively to our efforts, it affirms my belief in the importance of innovation and continuous improvement.

I believe that both personal and professional achievements are integral to a fulfilling and meaningful life. Whether it is through nurturing strong relationships with loved ones, or through driving positive change within the workplace, the ability to create a lasting impact is something to be celebrated and valued.

What’s a big or surprising lesson you’ve learned as a woman in the workplace:

Don't believe all the idea that women should change to fit into the workplace. Women are half of the population on this planet, we shouldn't have to change to be accepted at work, get fair salary, or be treated as equals. The workplace should change to accommodate us, just like it's adapted to men.

Of course, making these changes will require a collective effort to identify and address our unconscious biases, which often contribute to perpetuating inequalities in the workplace. It is vital that we acknowledge the existence of these biases and work actively to eliminate them from our thought processes and behaviours. This is no easy feat, but it is one that we must undertake if we are to create a truly equitable and supportive work environment.

It is worth noting that creating a more inclusive and empowering workplace is not merely beneficial for women, but for all employees. When individuals feel respected, valued, and supported, they are more likely to be engaged and productive, resulting in a thriving and successful organization. Therefore, prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion is not just the right thing to do; it is also the smart and strategic thing to do.

How do you stay energized?

I read. I particularly love old books, but I read a lot of new books as well. I love learning, so any books that teaches me stuff gives me energy.

Walking is another way I stay energised. Long walks in the fresh air gives me plenty of time to think through any challenges I face or make plans. I find that moving while I think helps me focus, and I usually come back to my desk refreshed and ready.
